Wet N Wild Palette in LUST

I craved into the hype and bought some Wet N Wild palettes recently. I love purples and Lust was my first pick because I was incredibly drawn into the lovely shimmery deep purple on the bottom right!

This palette is really lovely for its price. It contains 3 matte shadows on the left and 3 shimmery ones on the right. The packaging is nothing spectacular and it came with a small brush and sponge tip applicator (which immediately were thrown in the bin). The shades are quite powdery but are pigmented, soft, creamy and easy to blend. The lighter ones are more chalky but still decent enough to show up on my skin. And since these are loosely pressed, make sure to tap off the excess to minimize fall out. Pop them with a good e/s primer for a more lasting wear and more intense color!
The shades are also quite similar to some Mac shadows. The light beige on the upper left reminds me of Pen N Pink while the pale yellow on the right is quite similar to Vanilla (less the shimmers). The matte aubergine one is a dupe for Fig1 and the steel grey looks like Knight Divine. Also I saw from LVMakeUp's blog how these two colors are comparable to the Nars e/s duo in Eurydice. On the other hand, the darker plum color on the bottom left is a dead on for Shadowy Lady while the shimmery purple is very similar to Beauty Marked and NARS Night Fever.

Wet N Wild palettes are available at Watson's and retail for Php499. I got mine at ebay.ph (for only Php142.50), though. Lovely deal, right? (*wink*)
