Greed is a lovely palette that can instantly transform your look from plain blah to oh-lala vavavoom! It has three matte shadows on the left and three shimmer shadows on the left. This has beautiful shades that will create a lovely smokey look. Here are some snapshots:

I love all the matte shadows in this palette. They are very pigmented, buttery and they blend effortlessly. My favorite is the matte black because the color is so intense. I'll buy this palette over and over again just for this color! It's insanely gorgeous!

On the other hand, the shimmery ones are quite average on me. The shimmery silver gray and peach were quite sheer and chunky (very disappointing!). The shimmery black one is pretty but the glitters fall right out upon application on the lids.

Neutral shadows should be staple in every girl's make up kit, in my opinion. But when we are bombarded with a lot of choices, its quite hard to pick that perfect palette that is not overpriced but still does the job well. Alas, the Wet N Wild ColorIcon palette in VANITY!

This is a great palette and is perhaps my favorite from Wet N Wild (I also have Lust and Greed). The packaging is flimsy but practical. It has 3 matte and 3 shimmery shadows which are perfect to mix and match. The colors are very pigmented and go on very smoothly on the lids. I am in love with the matte shadows because even though they are quite chalky, they blend incredibly easy! I can even use the matte dark brown on my brows.

I craved into the hype and bought some Wet N Wild palettes recently. I love purples and Lust was my first pick because I was incredibly drawn into the lovely shimmery deep purple on the bottom right!


Here are some snapshots:

This palette is really lovely for its price. It contains 3 matte shadows on the left and 3 shimmery ones on the right. The packaging is nothing spectacular and it came with a small brush and sponge tip applicator (which immediately were thrown in the bin). The shades are quite powdery but are pigmented, soft, creamy and easy to blend. The lighter ones are more chalky but still decent enough to show up on my skin. And since these are loosely pressed, make sure to tap off the excess to minimize fall out. Pop them with a good e/s primer for a more lasting wear and more intense color!


The shades are also quite similar to some Mac shadows. The light beige on the upper left reminds me of Pen N Pink while the pale yellow on the right is quite similar to Vanilla (less the shimmers). The matte aubergine one is a dupe for Fig1 and the steel grey looks like Knight Divine. Also I saw from LVMakeUp's blog how these two colors are comparable to the Nars e/s duo in Eurydice. On the other hand, the darker plum color on the bottom left is a dead on for Shadowy Lady while the shimmery purple is very similar to Beauty Marked and NARS Night Fever.

This palette really stood by its name. Those gorgeous colors, the amazing texture, and the fantastic blendabilty of the shades are all LUST worthy!
