Hi dolls! I'm back from my Hong Kong-Macau trip and I got a few beauty buys to show to all of you. It's not a big haul, since I should be on a no-buy status (NY's resolution). But since everything in Hong Kong is damn cheaper (read: tax free), I decided to get a few beauty necessities. Plus, the conversion rate is not that bad too (note: 1HK$ = Php5.35).
Presenting: Gifts That Say Merry Clinique
This Christmas, Clinique make it easy to be generous with gift sets at great values for everyone on your list. Skin care, colour, and fragrance favorites that come in ready-to-give packaging. Here is a selection of their fabulous Holiday Offerings:
Benetton definitely did another fantastic job with the launch of their newest scents; - Let's Move for men and Let's Love for women. Aside from making everyone groove to Zumba and Shiba (thanks to Studio 116 Dance School), we were also able to sniff into the refreshing notes that these newest scents carry.
Happy Tuesday everyone! As always, let me start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who joined my Snoe Beauty giveaway. Kudos also to all the wonderful people behind Snoe Beauty Inc. for sponsoring this lovely (and generous) contest!
And now, it's time to announce the lucky winner.. (Drum roll pls!)
I hate when the awful scent of pollution lingers onto my hair. The reason being is I feel completely helpless. You see, I can't just spray perfume on my hair. It's a major beauty mortal sin that you won't catch me doing (fyi, it will totally damage the hair). So I resorted to random leave on sprays, which abruptly masked the scent, but left my hair looking like a greasy mess. Still, total fail!
But that dilemma was completely erased when I got Snoe Body Ritual Recipes Sweet Hair and Body Glaze in Nectarine Ginger Tea. Its sweet invigorating scent takes me from yucky to yummy!

I am not a newbie when it comes with Benetton fragrances. As a matter of fact, sniffing them instantly brings me back to my high school days. Remembering how I always refresh myself with a couple of spritz of Benetton Hot when I was still a teenager doesn't fail to uplift my happy sense. And don't let me get started with my infatuation with Paradiso Inferno Pink when it was launched. So isn't it obvious? I dig Benetton fragrances!
So imagine how thrilled I was when I learned that Benetton released two new scents! If y'all remember, first there was red, yellow, green and blue. Rosso and Giallo for women, Verde and Blu for men: four fragrances inspired by the colorful world of Benetton. Now, Benetton takes its vision of unity in diversity one step further, invoking the ultimate attraction of opposites with two new scents in the Benetton fragrance collection. Introducing black and white: Nero for men, Bianco for women.
I went to Singapore recently and stayed there for almost a week. As much as I want to shop my heart out, I realized that with the hefty price tag of almost everything in Singapore, there is a huge probability that I will get broke in no time if I will stick with my shop-now-hop-later plan. So after careful evaluation and fear of getting hungry and cashless, I decided to just try to save a little and shop a day before I fly out of Singapore.
I prioritized shopping for pasalubongs for my mom and lola. Then I used every Singaporean dollar that was left on my purse to buy a few treats for myself. :)
Let's start with the only fashion item in this haul!

Let's start with the only fashion item in this haul!
A crisp black and white blazer from Wanko. The label is a bit on the expensive side, but oh-boy their clothes are super worth every penny.
and now, let's do make up, scents and other beauty things!
I love perfumes! Spraying them on my skin is my everyday indulgence. For me, scent is a personal statement. It is a way of expressing myself and in conveying my personality to others. So when we were told that after the Laura Mercier Workshop, we will go straight to the Rustan's Grand Mall fragrance boutique for a little tour, my heart leaped with excitement!
We were first introduced to Diptyque, - a brand which was founded by three artisans who perhaps because of their common interest and passion, eventually became friends and partners.
These mini candles can be lighted on their own or combined with different scents to create a unique atmosphere. I never thought of lighting two or more different candles at the same time, so this was a nice tip for me. :)
Next, we have Herbas de Ibiza, - a cult favorite perfume range in England.
My favorites this month!
1. Nars Sheer Glow foundation
I don't use liquid foundations on an everyday basis. But every time I need my skin to look fabulous, I reach for nothing else but my Nars Sheer Glow. I love how it gives me just the right amount of luminosity; - making my skin looking healthy and glowy.
I bought eight things and yes, they are all pink! The ModelCo Colourbox single shadows were on clearance at Beauty Bar so I bought every shade possible.
The pink square packaging is undeniably cute, right?
I am currently staying at my grandmom's house. I will be celebrating the holidays here and I'll be back at my place perhaps a few days after Christmas. I was able to bring most of my make up essentials but failed to pack some basic toiletries (dumb me!). So I dropped by at Robinson's and picked up a few things.
Maxi Peel Facial Cleanser
I did some shopping these past few days and here are my latest beauty babies. :)
