IOPE Air Cushion Blusher in 01 Rose Pink and 02 Peach Sherbet
6:07 PM
Since I had a rave-worthy experience with IOPE Air Cushion Matte Long Wear, I decided to get their Air Cushion blushers as well. Add to that, the liberating idea of having a cream blush that does not require me blending with my fingers really enticed me.
The IOPE Air Cushion blushers come in two shades which are both equally pretty and right up my alley. In the beginning, I was going back and forth with what shade should I get. But my inner beauty junkie prevailed so I decided to just get both. When in doubt, get both (or all), right? #TheBeautyAddictMantra
Lets start with the packaging. I love the simplicity of the design. It is very compact and despite being a cushion, it's not too bulky at all. It looks similar to the Air Cushion except their matte casing and opening mechanism (and of course they are smaller).
It also came with IOPE's award-winning puff that makes applying this a walk in the park. I also find that the packaging is solid enough to withstand occasional beating (read:dropping them on the floor). I've traveled with these as well and they were practically indestructible.

This cushion blusher is designed to achieve that luminous and healthy looking skin with minimal effort. I'd say it really lives up to its purpose. The formula is very light, -not sticky in any way compared to most cream blushes in the market. The pigmentation is legit enough to show up on my Mac NC20 skin in one pat. I like that this is buildable as well without caking up. And since it's a cushion, it's very handy for touch ups.
Applying this is very easy as well. I just slide my two fingers into the puff and then I gently press the cushion. After that, I just apply this with patting/stamping method on the apples on my cheeks. And then, I blend the edges with the puff to make sure that the blush sits seamlessly on my skin.
The finish is dewy, but not borderline oily if you know what I mean. I like how this gives me that healthy glow-from-within look. It blends well on the skin and it gives me the most natural flush ever. It feels comfortable on the skin as well. It doesn't feel heavy, icky or tacky. It doesn't slide off and is shimmer-free so it doesn't accentuate the pores. I normally just apply this on its own but on days when I want to have my blush to stay put all day, I top it with a translucent setting powder.

Now compared to a cheek tint, the staying power of this cushion blusher is definitely below that. I've to say that with our humid weather, this cushion blusher lasts on my skin for 5-6 hours which is still not bad. But if you're anal with having your blush on all day, I suggest you set it or just keep the blusher inside your purse for quick touch ups. I'm also happy to report that this product didn't cause any irritation on my sensitive skin. It has a faint scent as well. Lastly, it has spf30 which is something that you don't see in a cream blush everyday.

I got mine from the Incheon Airport in a travel pack but you can purchase IOPE online at Althea for Php750 and have it delivered straight to your doorstep. Tip, shop via shopback to receive rebates too! Sign up HERE to get a Php350 credit too! :)
However, I'm not sure if you can just purchase refills for the cushion blushers just like with the air cushions. If you know, hit me up.
Thoughts?
