Last Saturday I got a text from Lara informing me that the NARS Holiday Collection was already available in their counter at Rustan's Shangri La. And being a true Nars addict, I decided to immediately pay Lara a visit and perhaps not a shocker anymore that I picked up a few things from the collection too (expect a haul post soon!).
I was debating whether to get Melusine eye shadow duo and Lara was kind enough to do a look on me using this gorgeous shadow:
Any way, this is Melusine in action. Pale silver lilac all over the lids and the deep purple on the crease and outer corner.

Last Saturday, I had my third session of my upper lip laser hair removal at 6F Aesthetic and Anti- Ageing Center at Medical Plaza Makati (click here to read about my first session) and as always, let these pictures do the talking:

Branded as one of MAC's best berry-toned lipsticks, Captive is a gorgeous deep muted plummy rose shade with burgundy undertones and has a satin finish. It is rich, highly pigmented and stays pretty well on the lips. It can be a little bit drying so make sure to pop some balm underneath or top it off with a gloss. If you are new to this shade, scroll down for some pictures.
Fact: Girls can never have enough baby pink lipsticks! - That is so right and yes, I'm guilty with this "pink lipstick addiction!" That's why when I saw Of Royalty lipstick in the recent Mac Fabulous Felines collection, I immediately made my reservations and picked up two tubes!
First row: Unconditional Love (soft shimmering copper), Night Star (sheer peach with gold pearls), Galapagos (bitter chocolate infused with gold)
Second row: Nepal (rose with shimmer), Ondine (plum with gold shimmer), Thunderball (midnight gray)

Although I already have Unconditional Love duo and Galapagos, I still decided to get this palette because I have been lusting for Nepal and Ondine for quite some time now and I don't regret making that decision. This is my first Nars palette and I am incredibly happy with it. The shadows are gorgeous, soft and they blend easily. I love using unconditional love as a base, nepal as my lid color, ondine on my crease, galapagos on my outer v and nightstar as a highlight. I also like that I can smoke it out a little more by adding thunderball that will instantly take my make up from day to night!
Unfortunately, this is a limited item and is already out of stock in most places. However, you can still get it at Sephora as part of a set. :)
