So I finally got my hands on the most talked about foundation this year. Unfortunately for Tarte, not for good reasons. The lack of shades for women of color definitely spun a lot of heat for this foundation. Tarte issued an apology and added darker shades to the line afterwards. Hopefully, other brands will learn from this slip.
Truth be told, I don't need another foundation but I adore my Tarte Shape Tape concealer so much that nonetheless, I decided to give this foundation a swing. I live in a humid and tropical country, so I opted for the Matte formula. Choosing the shade online can quite end up in a hiccup so I just settled with Light Sand which is also the shade that I wear with the Tarte Shape Tape concealer.

I know that I've been slacking from blogging these past few years. But if there is one thing that you all should know, my love for beauty did not fade through the years. I may not be posting my beauty hauls as much as before, but believe me, my make up addict alter ego still lingers beneath my soul.
Now to compensate for my semi-absence on the beauty blogging world, I made a list of my current beauty favorites. Most of them are new discoveries whilst others are just old time faves. Since I just posted my skin care routine HERE, I'll just concentrate on make up and a few bits and bobs.
So here I am finally sharing with y'all my updated skin care routine. I follow the 10-step Korean skin care routine because I just find that my skin absolutely adores the products from the Land of the Morning Calm.
Just so you know, I have extremely sensitive skin that it annoys the hell out of me most of the time. Having pointed that fact out, I really struggled a lot (read: break outs, rashes, etc) before finally curating the perfect skin care routine that didn't just make my skin go all psycho, but also improved the appearance and texture of it as well.
