When I don't want to get overwhelmed with a lot of shadow choices and I just need a quick decent fix, there is only one Nars duo eye shadow that I go to; - my Kalahari eye shadow duo. It's easy, pretty and great for everyday use!
When my ever reliable Nars MUA informed me that the new Nars Satin Lip Pencils were already available at the Nars Shang counter, I scrammed. With a giddy heart and an intention to get Yu (shocking pink), I was at the Nars counter in no time. Unfortunately, I swatched Yu and Mac Girl About Town next to each other (see swatch) and got the dupe alert! So I skipped Yu, and followed my Nars MUA recommendation and settled for Lodhi instead. Let me tell you, best decision (and reco) ever!
Every now and then, we all need to indulge in a bit of retail therapy. I wasn't in my happiest mood lately, so I thought shopping (and ice cream) might help uplift my state. I need to confess something. I have been secretly drafting a Chanel lemming list on my Starbucks planner. I know it's a slippery slope, but I feel I need to spoil myself a little soon. The decision to finally make that purchase snapped when my BB cream and my setting powder reached their last days. Spending on things that I actually use on my face on an everyday basis makes an indulgent purchase.. uhm worth making, right? (wink!)
