I hardly wear a nude lip. Despite my admiration for the smokey eyes + nude lip color combo, I rarely bust this look because I just don't feel fierce enough to pull it off. But when I do, there is only one lip product that I reach - NARS Satin Lip Pencil In Floralies.
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Floralies is described as a light apricot. It is a warm peachy brown that goes well with my light Asian skin tone. It is my go-to nude-ish lip color because unlike most nude shades, this doesn't completely wash me out. I like that I could still frazzle into the nude lip fiasco without looking overly dead. In addition to that, the formulation of this lip product is top notch!

Housed in a pencil form that (again) needs to be sharpened, Floralies glides heavenly on the lips. It is highly pigmented and covers my entire lips in one application. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't make my lips peel. It is very creamy and feels moisturizing on the lips. It dries to a lovely satin cream finish.
However, I find that when I fail to exfoliate my lips properly beforehand, it tends to accentuate those rough patches. On that note, make sure to have your lips hydrated and sloughed off before putting this on.
Floralies may also not be the most long-wearing nude lip product in the beauty market, but it's fine with me because reapplying it is a treat on its own. On me, it wears about 3-4 hours and vanishes completely after eating.

The only downside is it is in a pencil form and it needs to be sharpened. Mind you, it is not retractable. So expect to see a bit of the product getting wasted as you sharpen it. Also, expect to sharpen it more frequently compared to its jumbo-size counterparts from other brands (eg: Bobbi Brown Art Stick).
