Nars Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Paris Follies

I must have mentioned a bazillion times already that I am not a big lip gloss person. Yes, I like how they make my lips look softer, juicier and extra glossy. However, I really find the sticky texture of most lip glosses insanely annoying. I have long hair and seeing my gloss all smeared onto my face just because the wind decided to blow towards my direction is a disaster!
Good thing, I could already lavish into all the perks of wearing a gloss minus the tacky feel. Heaven must have heard my silent scream for help because a lot of make up brands right now are coming out with non-sticky lip glosses. Say hello to my latest non-sticky lip gloss find (and love); - Nars Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Paris Follies.

Nars Larger Than Life Lip Gloss in Paris Follies is a vibrant warm watermelon coral-pink creme gloss that doesn't just add the right amount of color to the lips, it also makes them look more luscious than ever. Yup, it's opaque enough to be worn just on its own. Add to that, the texture of this gloss is amazing. It glides on smoothly over the lips and doesn't accentuate my lip lines. It feels very moisturizing, but without the sticky feel. Despite its thinner consistency, I still get around 4-5 hours of wear out of this gloss (even when worn alone).
Also, compared to Nars regular lip glosses, this one doesn't smell nor taste plastic-y. As a matter of fact, I couldn't detect any scent at all. It's also noteworthy to point out that the brush of this gloss is shorter than regular ones. It was designed like that to enable precise application of the product onto the lips. Others find this troublesome (and time-consuming), but since I tend to go a little bit overboard with lip gloss application (then just blot the excess away with Kleenex), I find that I have better control with this shorter-bristle brush applicator.
