I am an avid user of papaya soaps. As a matter of fact, I have been a die-hard fan ever since I was a sophomore. And through out the years, my love for papaya soaps didn't diminish even a bit. Despite the long list of papaya soaps that I have tried and loved before, I still get delirious every time a new papaya soap on the block finds my way. And on that note, I had shivers on my skin when I received Snoe White No. 8 Organic Green Papaya Beauty Bar (retails for Php139). It's a papaya soap with a twist! It's green and loaded with so much more!
I feel such a good girl because the last make up haul that I did was way back February. Oh yes, 8 weeks of not buying make up is such a huge achievement for me. And I have a feeling that in no time, that record will be broken since I am thinking of putting myself in a make up rehabilitation zone (read: project no-buy is on!). It also helps that I am now staying outside the metro where Rustan's is like a two-hour drive (less temptations). So I think I need to stop rambling about the premature announcement of my self-imposed detention, and jump right into my recent beauty acquisitions!
Nars Pleasure of Paris eye shadow palette (which I purchased some time ago but failed to post about it) and Nars Pure Matte lipstick in Carthage (love this! I've been constantly repurchasing this ever since it came out!)
I still remember the first time I stepped inside a UNIQLO boutique (which by the way was at Tampines One, Singapore). Despite my lack of awareness back then about the brand, that didn't limit me to walk inside the store and to browse onto their amazing stuff. Perhaps it was the relaxed feel of their clothes or the long queue of people waiting to pay for their goodies (when the store wasn't even on SALE) that added a considerable good amount of curiosity to spark my fancy for the brand.
Topshop, - one of my all time favorite clothing brand will be kicking off their mid season sale! So on that note, I might visit their Shangri La store tomorrow. Yey! :)
If there is one item in my make up stash that weighs incredibly heavy for a lipstick, screams indulgence, breathes luxury and is a no-fail conversational piece, it is definitely my Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick in #62 Georgia. As a matter of fact, this lipstick started my infatuation with the Guerlain Rouge G lipstick range. If money is not an issue, I would definitely stock up on these babies.
I almost bought the Chanel Rouge Coco in #5 Mademoiselle when it first came out. But I remember trying to finish another my-lips-but-better-shade lippie back then so I postponed that purchase. And then a few days later, I read a news flash from the beauty blogsphere; - a dead on dupe for Chanel Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle has been found! And what made this revelation more interesting is it's from Revlon; - a drugstore brand that is highly affordable. And yes, the particular shade that they were referring to is Revlon Colorbust lipstick in Soft Rose.

Victorian lipstick was part of Mac Spring Colour 2 Forecast Collection which was released 2 years ago. I remember that period was the height of my passion for make up (and I was just starting with my blog), but for some peculiar reason, I managed not to pick anything from the collection (go figure!). So when I saw this lipstick on a blog sale, I snatched it immediately.

If there is something that is making me smile despite the scorching heat of summer, it's this press release from Nars. Presenting Nars Summer 2012 Collection!
Unlike most girls, I don't shop for shoes that often. This may come as a shocker for people who doesn't really know me that well, but it's true. That's why when I shop for shoes, I go all out. So once I spot something that I like (and it fits well and feels really comfortable), I always seize the moment (read:pay for it immediately). And lately, I find myself loving a particular shoe brand more than anything else; -Naturalizer!
Most facial wash targeted for acne-prone skins tends to badly strip the moisture out of my face. This is the reason being why I was a little bit skeptical in using the Nivea Sparkling White Acne Oil Control facial wash at first. Add to that, my skin was perfectly doing fine with my Nivea Sparkling White whitening foam + Nivea Sparkling White whitening scrub combo so I don't see any reason of switching. But one day, I ran out of my beloved whitening foam so I decided to take that leap of faith with the acne control whitening foam. And guess what? I loved it! I have been using it ever since September of last year.
Chatterbox; - a lipstick that has been on my lemming list for ages. I remember hating our local Mac counters before because this shade is from the permanent line, but it is not available here. Good thing, that changed already. So if you decide to get this lipstick after reading this post, you can easily scram to Mac and pick one for yourself.
