July is my birth month and so is my go-to online shop for my K-Beauty needs - Althea. Althea turned two this month and to celebrate this milestone, the fairies at Althealand laid out a bunch of freebies and giveaways for the whole month of July. Add to that, once you shop, you'd get a limited edition birthday box and diy kit which you can use to decorate your birthday box just like what I did.
Ever since I started coloring my hair years ago, I never went back to my natural hair color which is jet black. I just feel that brown-toned colors look better against my complexion compared to plain and boring black (no pun intended). But as I much as I would like to get a new hair color as frequent as my mane desires, I do not have the time (and the unlimited funds) to do so. Good thing I came across with a great way to color my hair in a faster and cheaper way. Yes my friends, I discovered the power of bubble hair coloring and I am hooked!
Every now and then, we all need to indulge in a bit of retail therapy. I wasn't in my happiest mood lately, so I thought shopping (and ice cream) might help uplift my state. And as superficial as it may sound, hauling (and again, ice cream) really helped me feel better (in a way). Hopefully, you'd feel the positive vibes in this beauty haul post too. Enjoy!
Thiamere of On Beauty Stuff and What Else hosted a giveaway and I was able to snag the third prize! This morning, I wake up with her package on my side table and oh-boy, I was like a kid opening a Christmas present! Thanks again Thiamere and more power to your blog! :)
Here are the fabulous items that she sent me:
My very first NYX item: NYX Ultra Pearl Mania pigment in Lime Pearl
My very first Fashion 21 mineral-based blush in 03
Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder in Honey Beige (too sad its not my shade)
Lancome Fatale Exceptional Volume Sculpting mascara
Etude House Code B Eye Lash Curler
That's all for now.
Until the next win (wink)

I love the color PURPLE and I love nail polishes. These are some of the things that can easily sweep me from my feet (especially if they are damn cheap!). Now, obtaining these two faves of mine in one product is something that would definitely make me jump for joy. And that was exactly what I felt when I laid my eyes on this wonderful piece of nail artistry.
I'm talking about ETUDE House Nail Lacquer in PP903
(retails for Php50)
This is such a lovely polish. I love how its color somewhat complements my fair complexion. I must say that this is even comparable to other high end brands. Application (two coats) is a breeze, it dries fast and it doesn't chip that easily. Also, the packaging is to-die for. Kinda reminds me of Anna Sui. I will definitely start buying more!
Swatches to follow!

After a few days of waiting, it's already here in my arms.. Uhmm.. I mean, in my make up stash! lol
Look how pretty this brush is! It is designed to be used all over the face and the cheeks. To many, it is a dupe of Mac 188 and I must say that I so agree with that! The large flat-topped full circular shape of this brush allows perfect application. This works like a dream!
See those fibres? They are made from natural and synthetic blend. So using them with powder or liquid foundation is a breeze! I used it a while ago with my Nars Oil Free liquid foundation and I love how it gave me a light airbrush look! Indeed, this brush helps me achieve that flawless face with essentially less effort. Measures 5.5 inches and retails for Php428.
Thoughts?
Peace and Love!
