Barry M Lipstick in #140 (Pink Sparkle) is a frosty sheer light-barbie pink with gold shimmers. At first glance, it kinda reminded me of Nars Angelika blush, but in a lipstick form. It goes on a bit sheer, but you can always build the color up. It goes smoothly on the lips and stays decently as well. The only problem is as it fades, it leaves the gold glitters behind. Definitely not a pretty site, if you ask me. Also, its scent pulls me off. It has that plastic-ky smell that I always not a fond of.
The color is gorgeous, but a steep too frosty for my taste. On that note, I don't see using this just on its own anytime soon. Like what I stated in the first few sentences of this entry, layering this on with my other matte pink lipsticks (like Mac Pink Pigeon) does the trick for me. Lets just say it's a quick way to spice things a little with my matte lip buddies without pulling those lip gloss wands.

However, please note that Barry M is a UK high-street brand and is not widely available in the country. But if you want to take this baby home, Make Up Box carries Barry M (and other brands as well).
