I don't normally gravitate towards loose shadows because they can be a bit hard to work with. So despite how gorgeous the shade is, if it's in the "pigment" form, I totally lose my excitement. So imagine how happy I was when big brands like Guerlain and Urban Decay started introducing the no-spill tubes for loose pigments. Haven't seen one before? Then, let me walk you with this awesome packaging innovation. Enter, Urban Decay Loose Pigment in Protest (valued at US$20).
Ever since I moved miles away from Rustan's Shangri La (I miss our just walking-distance relationship before), I always feel the urge to buy something from the store despite constantly reminding myself that I will just window-shop. And indeed, I went home with a few bags the last time I was there. Although, I will say that I did a good job not purchasing things that I don't really need (defensive much?).
Here's my small loot!

Oh yeah, it's Clinique Bonus Time! No doubt, this is the best time to shop (or even hoard) for our favorite Clinique products.
The saying "fashion before comfort" is something that I don't live by. Yes, I want something edgy and trendy, but I will certainly not choose being in excruciating pain just to look fashionable. I don't care being a simply Jane in the crowd, as long as I'm not silently screaming for Tramadol. And this mantra is something that I practice especially in buying.. shoes!
Good thing, prayers of the young and hip shoe-aholics like me have been answered. Something sassy, trendy, and comfy has just stepped into the scene…presenting Comfit.

When I learned that one of my dear friends (hi Eva!) will be coming to the Philippines for a short vacation, I immediately asked her if I could shop a few brushes from Sigma and have them ship out to her US address. And like a true friend, she immediately agreed. Yes, Sigma ships internationally but I just like to take advantage of cheaper shipping fees and shorter waiting time. And last Friday, during her post-birthday celebration at Buffet 101 (great food btw!), she gave me my Sigma package. Yey!

I have pretty clear skin most of the time (which I am so thankful about!). But that doesn't mean that I'm spared from disgusting scenarios like waking up and seeing a zit or two on my face. Well, I blame my lack of sleep, my spiking hormones and overflowing stress for those (bad) times. Good thing, I'm now equipped with Garnier Pure Active Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On, which doesn't just dry out imperfections, it visibly reduces pimple marks as well.
Calling all my fellow beauty fanatics, mark your calendars now for The Beauty & Wellness Asia Expo 2012. See posters below! :)
Hi everyone! I hope you are all safe. The rain is crazy and seeing flooded areas on the news breaks my heart. I really hope and pray that everything will turn out better tomorrow and in the following days.
Well on the brighter side, Maybelline sent me a ton of products recently and because I love y'all, I thought of sharing one set through a sweet giveaway.
Here are the items that one of you can win. Hope you are all excited! :)
I never had my hair colored. I just felt that it would be too much for me to handle (and to take care of). But for those with colored hair, well heads up because the multi-award winning and celebrated Kérastase Reflection range is proud to unveil Chroma Captive, a new hair care system to help protect colour intensity for up to 40 days with regular use*.
Orly Nite Owl is part of Orly's Birds of a Feather for Fall 2011. It's a gorgeous taupe-y brown shade with silver specks. It looks absolutely boring on the bottle, but on the nails, it lifts that old neutral territory a notch up!
“Sun-swept nudes and pinks evoke a beautiful late
summer glow.”
– Bobbi Brown
Bobbi’s new Desert Twilight Collection combines soft hues with bright color. Offering a pop of Southwestern inspired turquoise against a backdrop of sun-swept rose, plum and bronze shades; the collection is playful yet wearable.
Some weeks ago, I attended Nisce 'N Skin bloggers' night which was held at Secret Recipe, Megamall. The highlight of the event was the launch of the Niscenssa online store (www.niscenssa.com), which was dubbed as the easiest way to shop for Niscenssa products. Actress Bela Padilla, their new brand ambassador, also graced the event.
There is a reason why I bombarded my blog with reviews about Snoe products. You see, I love the brand so much that's why I get so excited when they release new products. So when they sent me some products last month, I was beyond ecstatic. But what really made me feel even more blissful is when they agreed on sending me two of each. One set for me, and another one for a lucky follower of my blog! Yey!!!
Perhaps like most women on the planet, I had been an avid fan of baby powders too when I was still in my teenage years. Remembering how simply splattering it onto my hands and quickly applying it all over my face after an exhausting school day, still lifts my spirit somehow. Oh yeah, me and my baby powder (plus my hair doctor) were inseparable during those times!
But as I age and venture to more lady-ish make up, my taste for powders revolved as well. I've tried them all; -pressed, loose, translucent, blotting powders, etc. And yes, these types serve me really well. But on a hot, humid day, I don't have the luxury to just pile them all over my body. Good thing, Snoe came up with a product that helps keep my skin shine-free, and my senses uplifted to the highest exponent!
