17 And Loving It! - A Bioessence Bloggers' Event

Last Saturday (Oct 22, 2011), we attended Bioessence (one of the leaders in the beauty and wellness industry) 17th anniversary celebration which took place at their Connecticut, Greenhills branch. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by their friendly staff.

We were also wowed by the clinic's jungle inspired decorations and zookeeper-wanna-be outfits of their staff! They looked so fierce, yet adorable at the same time!

And then we were asked to pick two Bioessence signature treatments that we would like to try.

I chose the Refreshing Facial with Diamond Peel and the 15-minutes Thermoshape trial.

While waiting for our turn, the people from Bioessence happily gave us a tour of their facilities.

They even presented a demo on how this Power Pore Minimizer works. Shorty after that, my attendant called me to join her in the treatment room.

Here I am undergoing the 15-minutes Thermoshape trial. Thermoshape uses radio frequency technology that has advanced bi-polar focus wave system. This penetrates through the sub-dermal and dermal layers; that stimulates collagen in the skin's connective tissues. It results in immediate tissue tightening, with minimal discomfort and down time. It is non invasive and apart from tightening tissue and stimulating collagen formation, it also reduces pore size and wrinkles.*

After the procedure, I really felt the tightening effect on my tummy. Sweet! And then, I had my refreshing facial with diamond peel afterwards. When I left the treatment room, I saw Ana at the hallway.

Yep, that's my just-had-a-diamond-peel bare face. Diamond peel instantly exfoliate and clarify old/dead skin cells. It assists in the reduction of the most stubborn skin conditions and at the same time rejuvenates and maintains the health of the skin.* For a first timer like me, I can say it's not that bad (read: swollen and really red) as I thought it would be.
