Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 in Fresh Peach

I don't pile make up on my face everyday. Just the thought of it makes me cringe to death. Despite my undying love for cosmetics, I still prefer to look naturally radiant, whilst using less products.
On that note, I've stumbled upon one remarkable product that I've been loving to bits ever since I started using it months ago. Say hello to a holy-grail worthy product - Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 in Fresh Peach (retails for Php1,950).
Description: "An oil-free, color-correcting, perfecting formula to create a natural glow while hydrating and protecting the skin. This must-have color-correcting formula smooths the complexion and creates an ultra-natural radiance. It instantly corrects a range of complexion concerns including dullness, sallowness, and redness. Perfect for wearing alone or under foundation and recommended for all skin types, the lightweight, oil-free cream moisturizes and protects with sunscreen, leaving the skin soft, fresh and flawless."
I normally find products that promises to brighten the skin a bit gimmicky. But the Clinique CC Cream really delivers everything stated above. It really amps up the radiance of the skin a notch higher, without leaving obnoxious micro-glitters on my face like other brightening products (yes, I'm referring to you Nars Radiance Enhancing Primer - such a glitter bomb!).
The formula is divine. It spreads evenly on the skin. It also sinks well onto the skin, making it feel hydrated but without the sticky, yucky feel. It has that distinct sunscreen scent, but nothing unbearable. It leaves a slightly dewy finish which I personally love. However, if you have oily skin, you might wanna set this with powder afterwards. It lasts quite decently and has a high SPF. Best of all, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin.
Also, I love that it comes in a squeeze-type tube. It may not be the fanciest packaging, but it's practical and travel-friendly. I also love the idea that once I get low on this, I could just easily cut the tube in half and scoop every ounce of the product left inside.
However, let me point out that the coverage of this CC cream is anywhere between sheer to moderately light only. Again, it corrects the base more than cover it. On that note, it will not fully cover acne marks, freckles or hyper-pigmentation. So if you need more coverage, I suggest wearing this underneath your favorite foundation or concealer. Believe me, it works wonders ever under make up!
And here's a pic of me wearing nothing but the Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 in Fresh Peach as my base make up.
Over all, this product is such a winner! It corrects the shallowness of my skin - making my skin appear luminous and healthy.
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 comes in a variety of shades to suit every skin tone and retails for Php1,950/$35.
