Valentine's Day Gifts From My Boyfriend!

Regardless of your relationship status, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's day celebration with your loved ones. I spent half of that day at work and was just able to squeeze in a quick simple dinner with boyfie before midnight. Boyfie was super sweet enough to got me a few V-day gifts. Unfortunately, he didn't include a bouquet of flowers. He blames the long queue at every flower shop he went to, but really, he's one of the few men who find giving flowers (who wither after a day or two) impractical. Go figure!

Anyway, here are my V-day gifts from my loving boyfriend (who I super love as well)!

Mac Painterly Paint Pot

I recently ran out of my beloved Urban Decay Primer Potion and I needed something that would prime my eye lids and make my eye shadow stay all day. Since Urban Decay is not readily available in the country (unless through online sellers), I made a quick visit at Rustan's with the aim of repurchasing the NARS Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base. Unfortunately, it was out of stock. Then I remember my favorite YouTube beauty gurus (amarixe & michele1218) singing praises on how Mac Painterly paint pot (retails for Php1100) works well for them. Thanks to my ever reliable memory, I rushed to the Mac counter and got one for myself.

Since I am a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I always look forward in getting my beauty fix at discounted prices. I'm sure I'm not the only one practicing this shopping mantra. We all need to be practical (in all areas of our lives), yet still look at our prettiest, right? That's why I always keep my eyes peeled for make up sales and beauty fairs.

I need to confess something. I have a little obsession with lipsticks. I just can't help it. Fact is, lipstick is my kryptonite. They always get my attention the most. I own quite a number and most of them are from Mac. On that note, indulge me in showcasing to you my humble Mac lipstick collection.
