I have never been a huge fan of Kojic soaps. Although I acknowledge their superior skin whitening capabilities, I find most of them drying and irritating. As much as I want to achieve that over-all skin fairness, I am not willing to compensate my relatively sensitive skin. But I definitely switched gears when I stumbled upon Snoe Beauty No. 3 Special Kojic With Glutathione Combo Beauty Bar (whoa, that was long!).
Product description: Produces double whitening action from high-grade kojic and glutathione. It inhibits melanin production to whiten skin blemishes and dark spots and also dries out and prevents pimples. It helps remove blackheads, thus creating younger, fairer skin.
Active Ingredients: High Kojic Content, L-Glutathione, Vegitol, Bearberry, Vitamin A, C, E, Grape Seed Extract, Goats Milk, AHA, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Songyi Mushroom, Papain Enzyme, Hyaluronic Acid, High Grade Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
A beauty bar that promises to kiss dull, dark skin good bye. It lathers decently and leaves the skin soft and supple. Definitely not drying compared to other Kojic-infused bars that I have tried in the past. I also let it stay on my skin for a minute before rinsing it out and it never sting even a bit. It also has a faint fruity scent that I like. Also, I find that it really helped evened my skin (I use it as an all over body soap). I started using this one late last year (after a Boracay trip), and it really accelerated the disappearance of my distasteful uneven tan lines. I also love that this bar doesn't melt as fast as other organic soaps. No need to cut this bar into strips!
The only down side is that it lathers to a pink-red foam that when rinsed, dyes the water with a reddish tinge that may not be a pretty sight for everyone. But don't worry, it doesn't stain anything. On a personal level, I don't mind it a bit.
